The names of the 9 hand lines (most of them are quite frequently mentioned in the palmistry literature) are:
A = Buddha line (first described by Japanese palmist: Hachiro Asano)
B = Equipoise line* (first described by PDC chirologist: Arnold Holtzman)
C = Girdle of Venus (e.g. described by Australian hand reader: Andrew Fitzherbert)
D = Healing stigmata (e.g. described by US hand reader: William G. Benham)
E = Intuition line (e.g. described by US palmist: Nathaniel Altman)
F = Passion line (first described by UK chirologist: Johnny Fincham)
G = Poorva Punya (e.g. described by Canadian palmist: Ghanshyam Singh Birla)
H = Ring of Solomon (e.g. described by the Irish palmist: Cheiro)
I = Via Lascivia (e.g. described by US hand analyst Edward D. Campbell)

The tradition of palmistry usually includes some basic aspects of the hands (see the palmistry chart): * The fingers: (see the picture above) – Thumb, which includes: ‘will’ (point 15), ‘logic’ (point 14), + related palmar zone: the mount of Venus (point 12); * The mounts: (see the picture above) – Starting with: the palmar zone of the thumb: a.k.a. the ‘mount of venus’ (point 12), the ‘mount of moon’ (point 11), the 2 ‘mounts of mars’ (point 10 – 2x) + the ‘plain of mars’ (point 13); below the index finger: the ‘mount of jupiter’ (point 9), the ‘mount of saturn’ (point 8), the ‘mount of apollo’ (point 7), and the ‘mount of mercurius’ (point 6). * The major lines: (see the picture above and the picture below) – Heart line * The minor lines: (see the picture below) – Girdle of Venus (see the picture above)
