The hands of Michael Jackson - a palmistry reading.

The hands of Michael Jackson – what does his palmistry reading reveal?

The wax hand cast above is Michael Jackson’s right hand – which is presented at London’s “Madame Tussauds“. What does his hand reveal about his life and death?

First of all, it is also interesting to notice that Michael Jackson’s right hand cast at “Madame Tussauds” reveals much more details about his hand lines than any public photo of his hands! Hand experts have noticed that Michael Jackson’s hands are rather remarkable and present quite a few tell-tale stories!

For example:

1 – In both hands Michael Jackson has a ‘double headline’: which can be recognized as a sign of a ‘double nature’ and an ‘eccentric personality’.

2 – Especially in his right hand is the thumb-angle a bit narrow (though in his left hand the thumb angle is wider): which can be recognized as a sign of being cautious (especially later in life).

3 – The combination of his relative long ring finger + strong thumb mouse (a.k.a. the mount of Venus): can be recognized as a sign of charismatic & spontaneous personality.

The famous palmist Cheiro wrote about the ‘double line of head’:

“A double line of head is very rarely found, but when found it is a sure sign of brain power and mentality. Such people have a perfectly double nature — one side sensitive and gentle, the other confident, cold, and cruel. They have enormous versatility, great command of language, a peculiar power of playing and toying with human nature, and generally great will and determination.”

Palmist Nisha Ghai says: palmistry is a science!

Is palmistry a science?

Palmist Nisha Ghai is the director of the Institute of Palmistry in New Delhi – which was found by the famous Indian palmist professor Dayanand

Nisha Ghai answers in her article the question: ‘what makes palmistry a science?’, and she describes how classic palmistry developed into the modern science of palm reading.

In her writing the palmist from New Delhi focusses on the following questions:

1) How scientific is palmistry?
2) How do the hand lines develop?
2) Do the hand lines change?
3) Which hand does the palmist examine?

“The palm is a mirror of our Brain and mind. The raised portion of flesh on palm are known as Mounts. The palm lines are waves, which indicate activeness of our unconscious mind. The Lines on the palm are the waves which indicate what goes in our unconscious mind.”

Missing fingerprints can have various causes: the hand-foot syndrome + genetic disorders.

No fingerprints: about the ‘hand-foot syndrome’ and genetic disorders’

What if a person has no fingerprints? Likely there are 2 options: (1) the person was born without fingerprints (due to a genetic disorders), or (2) the person has ‘lost’ his/her fingerprints during a chemotherapy (in a cancer treatment) – a missing fingerprint is often featured with the ‘hand-foot syndrome’.

By the way, having no fingerprints used to be no big deal. But the situation is changing rapidly due to the evolving applications of biometric fingerprint readers. In many countries fingerprints are required to: pass the nation’s border, and to get a drivers licence and/or passport!

TWO ANECDOTES FROM THE PAST FEW YEARS:

“Last month (april, 2009) a Singapore-based medical oncologist reported a letter that was presented online in the journal ‘Annals of Oncology’, titled: Travel warning with capecitabine. The trade name fot the cancer medicine capecitabine is ‘Xeloda’ – a medicine that is often prescribed in patients with breast cancer and colorectal cancer. But the oncologist’s patient had been using the drug to treat his nasopharyngeal cancer.

Two years ago, Spanish cancer doctors reported a likewise story about the 39-year-old flight attendant Cheryl Maynard detained for several hours at a U.S. airport until her doctor faxed an explanation that the capecitabine she’d been taking for breast cancer had erased her fingerprints.”

Palmist Cheiro said: the lifeline relates to the length of life.

Palmist Cheiro said: the lifeline relates to the length of life.

Palmist Cheiro said about the lifeline: ‘the line of life relates to the natural length of life’

When Cheiro – the ‘Godfather of palmistry’ – died he had a pretty long life line. But did his life line correspond with his age at death???

Researchers developed a formula to find the ‘age at death’ via the lifeline only!

Newrick, Affie & Corrall described in 1990:

“Palmistry has been the focus of heated argument since the first mention of its techniques in Indian and Chinese manuscripts of at least 3000 years ago. The science and popularity of the subject were brought to their peak by society palmist Louis Hamon, either better known by his pseudonym of Cheiro.”

One of the most famous theories of Cheiro was:

“… the lifeline relates to the length of life.”

In 1990 British 3 researchers performed a study focussed on the length of the lifeline in 100 cadavers. They developed an interesting method – with a piece of rope – to measure the lifelines, and the result were very significant: Cheiro’s theory appeared to be confirmed by the length of the lifelines of those 100 death people!

The ‘double blind’ study was done with great care, and the results found the newspapers all over the world.

How come that the study was never continued with a follow-up research?

‘The headache-break hand massage’ is a reflexology technique useful for healing migraine!

Olivia Rosewood has described how a simple hand reflexology technique can help to heal a serious headache or migrane attack.

Learn how to give yourself a healing handshake!

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) describes that a certain spot on the hand corresponds to the adrenal glands, of which the function is to clear blockages from this glands’ energy circuit, and as a results: bringing life force to these often overworked treasures.

Olivia Rosewood – author of spiritual book – says:

“To give yourself a break from a headache or even just a bit more zip in your doo-da, find the most tender spot between your thumb and forefinger. Use your other thumb and forefinger to pinch this spot from the top and palm of your hand (see the right picture above), the way you might pinch a penny should there be a world-wide financial crisis. Take a few deep breaths, and release this spot when you have an indication that you have unblocked this energy point: usually your pain subsides.”

New research on the old saying: 'cold hands, warm heart'.

New research on the old saying:

Cold hands, warm heart? – New research on the effect of poor circulation in fingers, Raynaud’s disease!

New research indicates that the old saying ‘cold hands, warm heart’ is often not true at all! About the effect of having cold hands on social perceptions, and chronic cold hands are an indicator for Raynaud disease.

Recently US researchers from the University of Colorado & Yale University presented their research results of two studies on how hand temperature affects the social perceptions. The researchers found that holding warm objects may actually make people view others more favorably (in terms of ’social warmth’), and having warm hands may also make people more generous.

The research results implicate that hand temperature is definitely another interesting aspect to be considered in a palmistry- or hand reading! The basic characteristic of Raynaud’s syndrome is: painful chronic cold fingers.

Professor John A. Bargh (Yale University) says:

“It appears that the effect of physical temperature is not just on how we see others, it affects our own behavior as well. Physical warmth can make us see others as warmer people, but also cause us to be warmer – more generous and trusting – as well.”

The Sydney line: an underestimated hand mark.

The Sydney line: an underestimated hand mark.

The Sydney line: an underestimated hand mark in Palmistry!

Many years ago the Sydney line was discovered as another hand line mark for Down’s syndrome – the other handmark is the ‘famous’ simian crease. How come that the diagnostic significance of the Sydney line is still underestimated?

This article describes an overview of the global palmistry- & scientific research related to the Sydney line.

In 1967 a Belgian study on Down’s syndrome was published which pointed out that besides the ‘famous’ simian line, an ‘extended proximal palmar crease’ is also a significant feature in Down’s syndrome.

One year later some researchers from Sydney, Australia (Purvis-Smith & Menser, 1968) reported that this fascinating palmar line is also frequently found in the hands of patients with congenital rubella – from that point researchers adopted the name used by researchers from Sydney: the name of the ‘Sydney line’ was established!

S.G. Purvis-Smith (Australian researcher) described the Sydney line as follows:

“A sydney line occurs where the proximal transverse crease extends beyond the midline axis of the fifth finger towards the ulnar border of the palm.”

Dozens of studies have confirmed the diagnostic significance of the Sydney line – sometimes the discriminative value is even higher compared to the simian crease! The significance of the Sydney line can be related to various medical problems (such as: Down’s syndrome, leukemia, Alzheimer dementia), and psychological problems (in general: developmental problems at young ages).
